Assimilations II for string quartet (2017), ca.12'

Assimilations II is based on the idea of assimilation or learning to become familiar with the possibilities for processing either texture or melodic material.

The work features two musical references: one relates to Dimitris Dragatakis’s First Sonata and the other to the use of the hexatonic scale.
